Wonderful News

Brothers and Sisters of the Maricopa Arizona Stake.  We are happy to announce that the Stake has purchased an All American 21.5 quart Pressure Cooker/Caner.  This cooker/caner will hold 19 pint jars or 7 quart jars.  This now is another tool that the Stake has to help in your efforts in obtaining your food storage goals.  With the Stake garden getting ready to harvest, now is a good time to can some of the efforts of your labor. 

We have three tools now in the Stake that can be used to increase your food storage program.

1.  Two #10 can sealers, one in Maricopa and the other in Ajo.
2.  One Mylar bag sealer and quart size mylar bags in Maricopa.
3.  All American 21.5 quart pressure cooker/caner in Maricopa.

The items in Maricopa can be checked out by contacting the Stake Welfare Specialists, Bob and LouAnn Singer on a first come first serve basis.  There will be a few minutes of training before picking them up if you have not used them in the past.

We will also teach a class this fall on using the pressure cooker/caner. 

Please take advantage of these resources to help you become more self sufficient by increasing your family food storage program and following the counsel of the Prophets.  As you do, the Lord will bless you and your families.
